How to read the table: The table shows how a team will do Passing and Rushing in the upcoming week of the NFL. Red is HOT, Yellow is WARM, White is NORMAL, Light Blue is COLD and Dark Blue is FREEZING COLD. Play players from teams that are Red and Yellow, avoid players from teams that are Light or Dark Blue and expect average days from teams that are White.
Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans – Thursday 8:20pm
Home field definitely helped as it was Houston that managed a 20-17 victory. We expected a better showing by Indianapolis than we got.
Favorite: Houston Texans by 3.5
Prediction: Indianapolis Colts 27 – Houston Texans 21
Denver Broncos at Buffalo Bills – Sunday 1:00pm
The Denver defense is fairly stout and they will give Buffalo a fight but with this one in Buffalo, expect the Bills to find a way to win. The mismatch this day will be when Denver runs the ball as Phillip Lindsay carves through Buffalo with his elusiveness. Be leery of the rest in fantasy as they’ll all chip in to some degree but won’t stand out this week.
Favorite: Buffalo Bills by 4
Prediction: Buffalo Bills 24 – Denver Broncos 14
Oakland Raiders at New York Jets – Sunday 1:00pm
This will be a test for the Jets, especially when Derek Carr gets a pass off as the Raider passing game will be alive and well. While Oakland has most definitely been playing better football as of late, it’s actually New York that has been better. Discounting the Jets’ defensive front and linebacker crew is a mistake. As is what Sam Darnold means to their offense and what Le’Veon Bell can bring when truly motivated.
Favorite: Oakland Raiders by 3
Prediction: New York Jets 27 – Oakland Raiders 20
Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals – Sunday 1:00pm
Joe Mixon isn’t a horrible start, he’ll be serviceable, but this game is all about Mason Rudolph to James Washington, Jaylen Samuels and Vance McDonald.
Favorite: Pittsburgh Steelers by 6.5
Prediction: Pittsburgh Steelers 27 – Cincinnati Bengals 17
