How to read the table: The table shows how a team will do Passing and Rushing in the upcoming week of the NFL. Red is HOT, Yellow is WARM, White is NORMAL, Light Blue is COLD and Dark Blue is FREEZING COLD. Play players from teams that are Red and Yellow, avoid players from teams that are Light or Dark Blue and expect average days from teams that are White.

All times are Eastern

Philadelphia Eagles at Green Bay Packers – Thursday 8:20pm
We expected the underdog Eagles to walk into Green Bay and come out with a win; for Green Bay to throw the lights out and for Philadelphia to emphasize the run. Sometimes, we get lucky. As an aside, Green Bay needs to learn how to get the small yards with their ground game and man could they use a linebacker.

New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills – Sunday 1:00pm
Those that understand know that playing in Buffalo is just no fun but this isn’t the Patriots first visit to Orchard Park. Expect this game to be a defensive struggle as the Patriots’ defense smothers the Bills offense and the Bills defense stifles the Patriots ground game while getting some pressure on Brady. It will make for a tough game for fantasy purposes but know that 7 points is a small number for how well New England has been playing lately.

Oakland Raiders at Indianapolis Colts – Sunday 1:00pm
I think most are onto Indianapolis this week and know that there is a lot more going on here than “folding up the tents and going home” after the Andrew Luck retirement. Those that discounted and discredited the Colts may be in for a little bit of a surprise. Oakland would be best served feeding Josh Jacobs in this but that doesn’t mean that they will, as the play-calling gets a little nutty sometimes in Oakland. The Colts however know that their bread and butter is going to be Marlon Mack. T.Y. Hilton is a bit banged up, though play him if he practices in full, and Indianapolis’ dreams of featuring the tight end in their system with dual threat Eric Ebron and Jack Doyle has apparently gone up in smoke. Jacoby Brissett has auditioned well, like he always has when given the opportunity, and while he may not win too many games, he has that Troy Aikman like quality where he won’t lose you many either.

Los Angeles Chargers at Miami Dolphins – Sunday 1:00pm
The only chance, and I mean ONLY chance Miami has in this is if the Chargers’ players skip curfew and indulge in just a little too much South Beach entertainment. Never say, “never”. However, load up on all that you own with a bolt on their helmet as that’s where your fortune lies.

Washington Redskins at New York Giants – Sunday 1:00pm
See.. here’s the thing.. this game is going to get wild. Neither defense has impressed, in fact, quite the opposite and both offenses have sparked when they have time to operate. Both teams are quite similar in what they are trying to do and they will both excel here. Do not shy away from what looks like the Toilet Bowl this week as there will be piles of fantasy points up for grabs here. DFS players pay attention as salaries will be low for all in this game but production will be high. The only worry is ever inclement weather on the East Coast but the long range forecast is 78 degrees and clear for this game. Yowza.
