How to read the table: The table shows how a team will do Passing and Rushing in the upcoming week of the NFL. Red is HOT, Yellow is WARM, White is NORMAL, Light Blue is COLD and Dark Blue is FREEZING COLD. Play players from teams that are Red and Yellow, avoid players from teams that are Light or Dark Blue and expect average days from teams that are White.
Los Angeles Rams at Seattle Seahawks – Thursday 8:20pm
We were on the Seahawks but with just a one point win, it was the Rams that were the better bet.
Favorite: Seattle Seahawks by 1.5
Prediction: Seattle Seahawks 27 – Los Angeles Rams 24
Arizona Cardinals at Cincinnati Bengals – Sunday 1:00pm
With John Ross put on the Injured Reserve list, this becomes the Tyler Boyd show for the foreseeable future. Do not neglect Auden Tate here either; tight end Tyler Eifert also deserves a look. The risk you always run however is whether Andy Dalton will have time to throw and against Arizona, he should. With the Cincinnati defense also in shambles, this becomes a suddently interesting fantasy game for Kyler Murray, David Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald.
Favorite: Cincinnati Bengals by 3.5
Prediction: Arizona Cardinals 20 – Cincinnati Bengals 17
Buffalo Bills at Tennessee Titans – Sunday 1:00pm
While some still poo-poo on Tennessee, they’re a tough team to beat on their home field and Buffalo, while improved, are missing some key pieces like a healthy Devin Singletary and their starting quarterback, Josh Allen. You have to like how the Buffalo defense has played, especially the secondary, but the strength of the Buffalo defense doesn’t really play into Tennessee’s game as they’d prefer to run the football. Fantasy wise, expect both teams to want to accentuate their running games which will keep the score low, but for Tennessee to be just that much more prepared at home.
Favorite: Tennessee Titans by 3
Prediction: Tennessee Titans 24 – Buffalo Bills 17
Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers – Sunday 1:00pm
Baltimore played poorly last week in so many phases of the game.. and now they are favored going into division rival Pittsburgh? Apparently, someone must have acquired an early version of The Progno as the line makers are spot on. The Pittsburgh defense has struggled and Baltimore wants to make a statement after last week — expect fireworks. Lost in all of it though, will be just how well Mason Rudolph played and how he gave his receivers a chance to compete.
Favorite: Baltimore Ravens by 3.5
Prediction: Baltimore Ravens 27 – Pittsburgh Steelers 23
Chicago Bears at Oakland Raiders – Sunday 1:00pm
Welcome to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. One thing we’ve learned from games in the UK is that the fields tend to come apart and there is no home field advantage for either team. It makes it a bit more of an “anything could happen” type of game and because of it, automatically makes Oakland more attractive. Chicago is favored but the offense has sputtered almost as bad as Oakland’s has. The points will be hard to come by in this game, making it a game of defense on a field that will keep the teams on the ground. For fantasy purposes, you’d be best served just passing on this game and looking elsewhere for points. Though I will admit, Oakland tight end Darren Waller has some appeal.
Favorite: Chicago Bears by 4.5
Prediction: Oakland Raiders 20 – Chicago Bears 17
