THE PROGNOSTICATOR: Week 9

We expected a closer game, though at some point, you do have to acknowledge just how many starting players the 49ers are missing.

Favorite: Green Bay Packers by 6
Prediction: Green Bay Packers 27 – San Francisco 49ers 24

This will be a fun one, with gobs of scoring. Expect both passing games to be on point as they shred through both secondaries but for the difference maker to be, just how surprisingly ineffective Buffalo will be on the ground. There will be goal-line opportunities galore so Zack Moss and Devin Singletary may be able to make up for it there but if not, it won’t end up well for either.

Prediction: Seattle Seahawks 30 – Buffalo Bills 27

When you put this game on a scale, it comes out even which makes it one of the more interesting games of the week. The best unit will be the Baltimore rushing unit as they’ll run well here but there is not a lot going right for Baltimore in their passing game right now. Indianapolis is the polar opposite, they can throw the ball well but are currently having some small issues in their run game. We’re taking the home underdog in this because of their ability to pass when needed, which will come in handy in the closing seconds of this game.

Prediction: Indianapolis Colts 27 – Baltimore Ravens 24

Tennessee just isn’t a good matchup for Chicago, where Tennessee is weak (defensively), Chicago can’t really take advantage and where Chicago is strong (secondary) it doesn’t really matter much to Tennessee, as they can just hand the ball off to Derrick Henry. Expect this to be one of those Derrick Henry games where he simply takes over and because of both his high number of carries and ability to run the clock, it creates a fantasy vacuum where everyone else struggles on both teams to score fantasy points.
