The big day is finally here.
After free agency gave way to the 2016 NFL draft, and the draft gave way to training camp, and training camp gave way to the preseason, the day that fans of both the NFL and Fantasy Football have been anxiously awaiting has arrived. Thursday the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos will meet in a rematch of Super Bowl 50, and the NFL’s regular season will begin.
With it, so begins another season of fantasy football — it’s go time, folks.
Another fantasy campaign means another season of regular season shows here at the Fantasy Football Feeding Frenzy. Every Thursday during the regular season, Fantasy Sharks Staff Writers Gary Davenport, Todd Latzke and Walton Spurlin will break down everything you need to know about that week’s games.
Can Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles start the season off right (and build on his 2015 success) against the Green Bay Packers? Will Oakland Raiders tailback Latavius Murray run wild in a plus matchup against the Saints? How will New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski fare with Jimmy Garoppolo under center against the Arizona Cardinals?
Who are the value plays to get into lineups? The potential busts to avoid? In short, what are the moves fantasy owners should make if they wan to see the 2016 season get off to a strong start?
For the answers to those questions, injury updates and the Week 1 fantasy Studs and Duds, tune in Thursday, September 8 at 7 PM Eastern.
Come on in — the water’s FINE!
