Feast or Famine – Week 16

Every week I will pick and choose certain players that will produce above (feast) or below (famine) our Fantasy Sharks Player Projections. A couple guys every week may be obvious, but some might surprise you.

Feast

Dennis Johnson, RB, Houston

Fantasy Sharks Projection:
7 Points

Johnson will get the start and the majority of touches now that Ben Tate has been placed on Injured Reserve. Denver taking an early and large lead shouldn’t scare you either because the Broncos rank right in the middle for rush attempts against.

*******************************************************

Kai Forbath, K, Washington

Fantasy Sharks Projection:
6 Points

That’s right, a kicker. Kirk Cousins seems to be moving the offense just fine and it gets even easier against Dallas this week. Points will be plentiful for both teams.

*******************************************************

Famine

Drew Brees, QB, New Orleans

Fantasy Sharks Projection:
24 Points

I don’t want to over hype the “Brees can’t play on the road” movement, but it has some merit, especially in the colder games when he has to play outside. Carolina is only two weeks removed from the beating it took in the Superdome and a lopsided game like that is unlikely to repeat.

*******************************************************

DeMarco Murray, RB, Dallas

Fantasy Sharks Projection:
24 Points

I say it every week and I will say it again. Usage. Washington can’t stop the pass and Dallas doesn’t know how to run the ball. Sorry, Murray.

*******************************************************

Andre Brown RB, New York Giants

Fantasy Sharks Projection:
15 Points

Detroit has a top-5 rush defense while the New York Giants have a bottom-5 rush offense. Brown needs multiple touchdowns if he is going to meet a lot of fantasy owners’ expectations.

*******************************************************

Josh Gordon, WR, Cleveland

Fantasy Sharks Projection:
15 Points

Rex Ryan can scheme his defense to neutralize one threat. Gordon is the only threat on Cleveland since Jordan Cameron is banged up and questionable for Sunday’s game.

*******************************************************

Marques Colston, WR, New Orleans

Fantasy Sharks Projection:
13 Points

New Orleans is on the road against one of the top ranked defenses in the league

*******************************************************

Coby Fleener, TE, Indianapolis

Fantasy Sharks Projection:
13 Points

Fleener has had only one game where he recorded more than five receptions. He is as unreliable as they come at tight end with limited upside.
