Feast or Famine – Week 17

Every week I will pick and choose certain players that will produce above (feast) or below (famine) our Fantasy Sharks Player Projections. A couple guys every week may be obvious, but some might surprise you.

Feast

Matthew Stafford, QB, Detroit

Fantasy Sharks Projection:
19 Points

Stafford has had a brutal couple of weeks while he ruined a lot of fantasy seasons. He is in for a bounce back game against the league’s worst pass defense.

***********************************************************

Giovani Bernard, RB, Cincinnati

Fantasy Sharks Projection:
13 Points

Cincinnati has a shot at a first-round bye and will need its best players to lock up a win. They will get creative and Bernard will make the most of his touches.

***********************************************************

Arizona Cardinals Defense/Special Teams

Fantasy Sharks Projection:
6 Points

Arizona has arguably the best defense in football right now (Carolina No. 1/No. 2?). The game this week will be a low-scoring grudge match that could be decided by special teams.

***********************************************************

Famine

Matt Ryan, QB, Atlanta

Fantasy Sharks Projection:
19 Points

Ryan’s stat line against Carolina earlier in the year in a game that actually mattered: 219 yards, one touchdowns, three interceptions.

***********************************************************

Andre Brown, RB, New York Giants

Fantasy Sharks Projection:
20 Points

Although Brown nabbed two short-yardage touchdowns when he faced Washington in Week 13, he averaged 2.5 yards per carry. No thanks. The touchdowns will not be there this week.

***********************************************************

Joe Baynard, RB, Minnesota

Fantasy Sharks Projection:
13 Points

Who? Detroit has the fourth-best run defense in the league.

***********************************************************

James Jones, WR, Green Bay

Fantasy Sharks Projection:
15 Points

Aaron Rodgers is back! But Randall Cobb may be as well. Jones isn’t worth the gamble this week.
