#2 to be retired tonight.

Unbelievably magical career. I'm sitting here watching YES and all the career highlights. They just showed his last game at Yankee stadium. It was against Baltimore and the Yankees took a 3 run lead into the ninth with David Robertson coming in to close it out. (39 saves that year). If he closes it out, Jeter doesn't come to bat again in that stadium. But Baltimore ties it, allowing Jeter to bat 3rd in the bottom of the 9th. Runner on 2nd when he steps up and delivers the game winning hit. That, along with an HR for his 3,000th hit, "the flip" against Oakland,
It just goes on and on.

I've never enjoyed watching any other athlete more than #2.
