May change - only time I benched R.Williams all year was his bye week and an injury. Just have a hard time starting 2 Lions against the Bears. SDC defense has been good to me this season, DAL hasn't so that could change also.

Going against Tomlinson in 3 finals, starting him in 1 this weekend. Guess I need him to have an off day - maybe he can keep it around 150 total yards and only 1 TD?

Good luck Phyree56 - and have a happy holiday.

Fighting my way through the who's who among GWS Champions - I reach the finals meeting along the way the 2005 champs in round 1, the 2004 champs in round 2 and now the inaugaral 2003 champs in the finals. Good luck Phyree - hope I can stop you from becoming the first 2x site champ.

QB: Drew Brees -- A pleasant surprise this season, Brees has worked his way up from a marginal fantasy backup in the preseason to a solid starter.

RB: Ladainian Tomlinson -- Yea yea, I know...your grandmother could win a league with LT at this point...spare me.

RB: ??? -- I think I'm going to let the Tank vote on my #2 RB. Because frankly, I have no earthly idea. Power to the People.

WR: Hines Ward -- Normally I'd be worried about a guy who sustained some injuries, on a team that's basically out of it, but Hines seems like the kind of guy that just can't stop trying.

WR: Mike Furrey -- Another surprise that panned out. I hope starting Furrey counteracts some of Jon Kitna's points for Cantebury.

TE: Todd Heap -- I was glad to see he's Questionable. He plays better when he's Questionable. Seriously, look up the numbers...

K: Tynes

D: Jacksonville

Best of luck, Cantebury. You've been a great competitor for years now, so I would like to see you win. That said, I'd like to see me win more! 8)

Happy Whatever Holiday You Celebrate, everyone.

My plan to drum up some interest in the site championship game by having a vote for my #2 RB seems to be going poorly, considering the first two comments were that I should delete it...

Oh well, I guess I'm not much of an idea man.

Well - I think you should go with Michael Turner - that was if LT gets rested at all you still get all the SDC RB points. But, that's just me.

I did use the LT + Michael Turner backfield one week this year. And it worked! They combined for 49 points! Of course, LT contributed all 49 of them...

Maurice Jones-Drew got the nod from the Tank. And Taylor put up a fairly lame 11 points, so maybe luck is on my side.

Looks like the championship comes down to the right leg of Olindo Mare...

Thanks Cantebury. Well fought. Also thanks Tony for the front page accolades!

Some might say I should retire on top, but I'm having too much fun! I can still be the first back-to-back champion, or the first three time champion. Or I could just as easily go 3-10 next year. That's the quality of this league. I look forward to taking on some new opponents next year, and continuing to battle those who hang around.

Thanks to everyone for a great season!

Congratulations Phyrre! 8) What an accomplishment. 2XChamp!

Enjoy your successes in the off-season and I hope that some day I can compete in the same League as yourself. Kudos to you and Happy New Year.
