Can someone explain to me how Rashard Higgins was dropped and added to another team in the same set of waivers?

Round 1: SteelDan79 dropped Higgins, Rashard CLE WR
and acquired Funchess, Devin CAR WR

Round 1: N Ky Riverjags dropped Peterson, Adrian NOS RB
and acquired Higgins, Rashard CLE WR

How could Riverjags put in a waiver request for a player who was on another team?

He has since already dropped Higgins so it doesn't really matter, I'm just confused.

Thanks. I’ve been scratching my head on that one as well.

I didn't want Higgins - he was on my waiver choice for the previous week & why assigned on that waiver, don't know :: the "quirk" in the system did prevent me from getting my 1st priority that I thought I was requesting for the week ....... & yes, player was assigned by waiver claim to another owner & just decided not to pursue the oddity of the waiver assignment

That's gracious of you to not make a big deal about it. But if a system error resulted in you not getting the correct waiver priority, that's a real problem that I think should be investigated.

Clearly something went wrong.

I was pleasantly surprised when I woke this morning. I definitely did not expect McKinnon to put 29 points up and allow me to squeak out a 2 point win. Finally! A break.

Well, you certainly would have enjoyed the game more than I did. ](*,) The worst (or best) part about PPR is the late game dump-offs. Lots of cheap points to be had. Was trying to hold off Murray in another league...at least I won that one. Congrats!

Amazing how close most of the W-L records are. I expect my team to crumble in the back half though.

As of Week 7, here are my opponents' scores in the weeks that I've WON:

130
137
138
134

I'm 4-3 and every time I beat a team that scored 130+.

My opponents' scores in games that I've lost:

107
118
161

So other than getting blasted by Lab this week, the results and the points are not lined up well. That's why we're all evenly ranked I think. Weird year. A lot of losses with huge points and wins with average points.

What're the odds of Jordy Nelson scoring -1 points tonight for Tony? I could really use a win here.

The playoff race sure is complicated going into Week 13. By my rough count, only 3 teams are definitely out and only 3 teams are definitely in.

Also just for the sake of venting...I've had 124 more points scored against me than any other team. If the team playing against me each week were its own team, it would lead the league in scoring. :-( I'm just praying there's a way I can sneak in as a wild card and reset my luck.

That's rough!

Have one of those myself, leading the league in scoring and on the outside looking in at the playoffs right now. I'm locked in down in Whale for playoffs though.

I'm currently the projected #1 seed and a 28 point dog in week 13.

The way I see it...
DMcDuke clinched #1, Riverjags clinched wildcard
Win and In - Lab, Marauder, Hogs, Bukowski/Shark winner

If Phyrre beats Lab and Marauder loses to Tony, then Phyrre and Lab get in and Marauder would be out.
If Phyrre beats Lab and Marauder beats Tony, then points would decide last spot(s) between Phyrre, Lab and possibly Hogs (if they lose).
If Marauder loses and Lab beats Phyrre, then Marauder would have to hold off Arrogant (if he wins) and possibly Bukowski (if he loses) for last wildcard. (Hogs would be in.)

Do we know what happened to Harbaugh Effect?

Good luck to all! It's certainly been interesting so far.

I don't think so. He disappeared after the draft. Here's hoping that he just lost interest, because the other options are worse.

As for the playoff scenarios, I'm just hoping to beat Lab by 16+. I think that's my "win and you're in" scenario, barring some truly obscene scores that shake up the tiebreakers.

Otherwise I need help to get in.

The relegation race is even nuttier. A minimum of 2 teams going into Week 13 with a 6-6 record will be relegated, and it seems possible if not likely that a team with a winning record will get relegated. :? Combination of Harbaugh Effect losing so much (oh btw, I'm the ONE TEAM that didn't get to play the dead team...) and Tony having a bad record but immune to relegation, while the rest of the league is bunched around .500.
