I think your dark horses are all quite safe. Agree with the others.

Could be just guys I think are just going lateral and not up. some other guys I think the expectations are high and they might get booted because of that.

I don't remember who said it, but to paraphrase - no coach should be in the same job for more than 10 years. Bellichik is obviously the exception to the rule, but Marvin's message has probably gone stale.

This team would still suck with someone else, but he's an adequate scapegoat for this season. The real problems are turnover at coordinator, letting Whitworth and Zeitler walk with no replacements ready, and Bad Andy. Maybe this team will be bad enough for the '18 coach to hand pick whatever QB he wants.

My prediction: Lewis is the first to get the ax.

Brown won't fire him mid season if he fires him.

and replace him with who?

Look who Marvin Lewis surrounds himself with. It's genius. He's not going anywhere.

O'Brien's job is dependent on Watson's growth this season and his relationship with him.

I think BoB and Rick are both gone at some point this season. Trading away their first and second round picks seals the deal for Rick.

I'll have my crow served cold on a bed of rice if either of them are back next year. Nuk's just too special, but I am not even sure I wrote any other Texan down in August.

Why is McCarthy on this list every time when he puts forth a contender every single year without fail?

The Bengals love Marvin Lewis and his drive towards mediocrity.

Mediocrity would be an improvement over what they have now.
