I had a feeling Hue had Haslam’s ear after that AJ McCarron debacle. I didn’t think it would play out until the offseason though

Is that a picture of his reaction from when they told him he was fired?

Thankfully Silver has served as Hue's mouthpiece throughout, so it's easy to identify the lies Hue is leaking back into the media as he's buried the front office and held himself to no accountability.

Unfortunately that doesn't change 2018 football already sucking before 2017 is even finished.

They've got talent on defense.

They've got building blocks for a good O-line.

If Gordon is truly back, they've got two talented starting WRs.

They've got a potential stud TE.

They could probably upgrade Crowell, but really otherwise I think we're talking about a team that is a HC and a decent QB away from being potentially a good team. Kizer may even be serviceable with the right staff and some more experience, although they should probably still go QB first overall.

Any chance they use the #1 pick for Barkley? Takes pressure of Kizer quite a bit.

Wasn't Mel Kiper one of the draft pundits that was gushing over Manziel and basically pounding the table for him to get taken in the 1st round? I know there was an awful lot of that, but can't remember if Kiper was one of them.

I don't know, bit Sashi Brown wasn't GM then.

I think in the end you're judged by wins and losses. Without a QB you don't have a team, and their unwillingness to draft a QB in the first round is what doomed them.

Drafting quality players is one thing; but is there a GM that wouldn't trade that whole roster for a Carson wentz or a deshaun Watson?

Hey, time to rewrite history and blame (insert guy fired) for every mistake made while he was here while giving him no credit
