McDaniels wins. I preferred Saleh, for many reasons, but Im fine with this. He's got the greatest amount of experience and far more mature then his last stop 10 years ago.

Haha, that so perfectly descriptive of Browns fans.

Mcdaniels hiring gets the local kid back to his roots and he said, "his dream job." Ive seen a hell of a lot of HC win the press Press Conference. Browns fans just want capable leadership and disciplined players. He will fail if he tries to copy BB's everything. He needs to know how to blend what he's learned, and who he is as a coach.

All another ploy to show how Belichick is playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers:

1. McNugget gets assigned HC and GM rights.
2. Immediately trades Odell Beckham Jr to the Patriots for a package of Kraft cheese.
3. McNugget resigns.
4. Belichick tells reporters "There is no rule against it."

They were going use that maneuver on Andrew Luck but found out he was planning to retire at the last minute.

Did we ever get confirmation that no wives accompanied any of the other candidates on their trip to Cleveland?

I didn't even know having your spouse with you made it a virtual lock to get hired.

Whichever one they hire

Nah, they'll lose their minds if it isn't McDaniels. The demands for an experienced head coach are irrationally being beaten from every corner. I'm open minded to most of the potential setup's, but I am clearly an outlier.
