NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Bucs haven't ruled out coach Dirk Koetter returning in 2019.

Koetter has been on the hot seat since last year, but the Bucs have yet to make a decision on him. Tampa has one of the top offenses in the league under Koetter and their defense improved since the in-season firing of DC Mike Smith. It would still be a surprise if Koetter returned after another disappointing year. The Bucs' talent-heavy roster would make them one of the more attractive openings this offseason.

He signed an extension within the last 48 hours. Take him off your Christmas wish list if your team was looking at him as a possible replacement.

Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh has said he’s staying put. That won’t keep at least one NFL team from trying to lure him back.

Per a league source, the Jets are the team that is planning to make a run at Harbaugh after the season ends.

If Packers really hires one of these retreads, then they were stupid for firing McCarthy. At least a lot of fans liked him and it'd provide continuity. He isn't a good coach but neither are these guys, so what's the point?

Dolphins coach Adam Gase just told reporters that he intends to play wide receiver DeVante Parker this week in a meaningless game against the Bills.

And as outlined by Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, that comes with a considerable risk — specifically a $9.37 million injury guarantee on Parker for 2019 — the amount of his fifth-year option.

“Yeah,” I’m aware,” Gase said.
