Yet he was still 9th rb and 40ish overall in ppr.

I'm afeared of the year off and Gase factors.

Probably will avoid both.

I'd go Bell or David Johnson -- whoever is there. If both there, whoever you like better.

DJ scares me with how terrible they were last year.

He looked good catching the ball last night but there was no running room. At all.

And he's going to catch 250 passes.

Montgomery looked good in his only series. I can only assume Bell will look even better. Maybe he’ll get some snaps next week.

I'm ready for Sunday!!!!!

ESPN's Rich Cimini projects Le'Veon Bell for 15-20 touches Week 1 against the Bills.

When asked if there were any restrictions for Bell in his first game in almost two calendar years, Jets coach Adam Gase said, "No, he's ready to go." Bell could lose some snaps early in the season to Ty Montgomery despite Gase's comments, but he's still locked into an RB1 role if he sees the projected 15-20 touches and should get better as the season progresses after not playing this preseason.

Le'Veon Bell rushed 17 times for 60 yards, tacking on six catches for 32 yards and one score and a 2 pt conversion. He played all 66 snaps.

Not bad for having not played for a year. He was the lone bright spot on a dark day.

I am as befuddled as you are.

It's one game and I already hate Gase. There was just zero imagination. I was hoping to see some Montgomery and Bell both on the field. Maybe he was trying not to show anything this game to wow everyone next week on national tv.

Yeah, that's it.

Wasn't he the guy that transformed the Dolphins?

I was torn. I kinda wanted him to learn from his experience in Miami and grow and change. I kinda wanted him to crash and burn hard. But seeing that he is up to his same old crap on offense, and limiting what he'll let Darnold do...ugh.

That this dude was able to get 120+ total yards in that game with these two quarterbacks is simply amazing. It just sucks they are going to waste one of the last 3 years he has left to play at this level.
