NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports the Jets are expected to start Joe Flacco in Week 5 against the Cardinals.

I haven't subjected myself to watching the game yet but I did see some complaints from beat writers that Gase was immediately putting plays in for Flacco that moved the pocket. Something fans and beat writers have been screaming for Gase to do with Darnold. Not only is that Darnold's strength, why go to those plays with a guy that can't move any more? Dreadful.

More harping and bellyaching to come after I watch the game tonight.

I mean, he should be relatively cheap right?
Feels like there's like a strand of logic for 4-6 teams being interested if the price is low.

with the remaining salary I can only see a salary dump trade. Bell and a 3rd for a 5th or something like it.

He has no more guaranteed money. Dead money next year is only $4M but if they keep him, $13M. He's gone either way. Would be nice to get a mid to late round pick.

Thanks

Yep, I don't see any team wanting to trade for Bell and I don't think saving money this year is worth much of anything for the Jets. Unless they just want to get rid of him to get rid of him which may be the case.

But it takes two tango and Bill O'Brien no longer has a job. A desperate GM is the only person that would trade for Le'Veon.
