ESPN Jets reporter Rich Cimini expects No. 11 overall pick Mekhi Becton to start at left tackle.

That's not all that surprising, but the Jets have a ton of options after adding several linemen this offseason. Cimini sees the line shaking out as Becton at left tackle, LG Alex Lewis, C Connor McGovern, RG Greg Van Roten, and RT George Fant. That's four new starters, with Lewis the only holdover from last season. In this scenario, RT Chuma Edoga and RG Brian Winters head to the bench. Winters' roster spot should be shaky, as he's scheduled to collect over $7 million in 2020.

It's not perfect but it's a start. Becton has by far the largest upside of any of the first four tackles drafted. But he also has the lowest floor of all of them as well. It's going to be fun to watch this dude play.

Hopefully a WR (Mims, Higgins, Pittman, Claypool) falls to them in the 2nd. If not, I would not be disappointed if they went O-line again.

Becton's a great fit for the Jets.

He won't get the proper development from Gase, so him being there in what will be an unusual offseason only ensures 2020 does not go any better than it previously would. The next group then has a great tool at a premium position at their disposal to go with a 2021 top 10 pick.

just know that everything I type about the Jets is skipping ahead to 2021

2020 is going to be a lost season. I know this.

It's very exciting relplacing Adam Gase. I know from experience. It's almost over.

They traded back and still got Mims and picked up a 3rd. I’ll take it. They needed a big body receiver.

Now they have 3 3rd rounders. CB, Edge, RB or more OL

Yup, he could be an outstanding FS. Trade Adams for a 1, move Maye to SS and turn Davis loose.

Maye is in the last year of his deal. If anything he replaces him at FS
