Regardless, he's going to go to a bad team. 2021 or 2022. What if the Washington Football Team has the #1 pick in 20221?

I think it's unlikely he'd return to school but I wouldn't blame him if he tried to find a way to not be a Jet.

For the record, I don't believe there's anything wrong with playing for the Jets.

They're just another team. I don't think ownership is among the most toxic ownerships or anything. Just a bad string of GM/HC's.

On the flip side I guess they drove away one of the greatest HC's of the past 20 years so what do I know.

It is my understanding that a kid like Lawrence already has insurance against any career-threatening injury.

It's not toxic, it's just inept

They want to spend money. They seem to just hire coaches and GM's independently of each other which makes zero sense.

I wonder if being drafted by the Jets can be deemed 'career threatening' so the policy can pay off

I believe a generational qb is much more important than extra draft picks.

Seattle without Wilson? No way they are winning this many games. Same with KC and Mahomes.

Look what happened to GB when Rodgers went down.

Eli Manning made OBJ look great! (Kidding)

The perennial contenders have great qb's.

Just saying but Josh Allen doesn't make the "leap" we are all witnessing without OC Brian Daboll. And if the Jets are lucky enough to get the 1st, and Trevor doesn't run back to college.

You could have a HC candidate here, I know Lincoln Riley seems to be the "Insert Kenny Powers" POPULAR choice but Daboll has a good track record.

Lincoln Riley isnt going to jump unless he has full control. Jets have a GM with 4 years left on his deal.

Eric Bienemy is atop any extremely way too early list we want to make today

Can you imagine the hype on Lawrence if ATL gets the 1.01?

Falcons are not going to be in that conversation.

Jets, Giants and the Miami Texans will be battling for that #1 pick.

I don't think Miami's bad enough for the number one. Unless they keep starting Fitz.

I think it's far more likely ATL implodes than HOU.

Deshaun Watson is too good and they just fired the biggest impediment to their team today \:D/
