the problem for defense is they cant keep up for 4 quarters

too much space on the field

points are everywhere, the floor is high - the ceiling is high

if he puts up 20 points this week, he needs to start every week after that

That's true, if you ignore all the games in which the defense keeps up for 4 quarters.

There are more games than those played this weekend. There were more than 1 of the games described within this weekend's games.

If you had him leading the NFL in passing attempts after 3 weeks....you win.

16 sacks isn't a surprise but it's not sustainable if they want him to last the season.

I like kyler as a player, but the cardinals should of played the hand they were dealt and start building the rest of the team and kept Rosen.

I agree. It never made sense to me to move up into a top 10 pick for your QB, then give up on him after just a year, when he was in an atrocious situation. I'd have taken Quinnen and to try and bolster that defense then focus heavily on O-line after.

Kept Rosen? I think Cards made the right move with Murray and obviously the new coach wanted his qb...probably part of taking the job.

Why even move up to grab a QB if they're just going to move on from him within a year? They knew their team sucked and one could make a good argument that Mayfield or Darnold would have struggled just as much on that team. If they were going to be that impatient then maybe they should have just passed on a QB that year and tried to build a better offense first.

Well they thought Rosen was their guy...but then he wasnt. And they got a new coach who wanted his guy. Seems pretty simple
