See some discussion of A.J. Green’s value here, this is a trade from this week in The Premier League:

Oar gave A.J. Green and 2020 2nd rounder

I gave Damien Williams and 2020 1st rounder

Oar and I likely will both be competitive this year, so these will both likely be picks in the 7-12 range.

FYI for those not familiar with the league, we have college rosters so most of the consensus 2020 draft studs are already owned. And many more will be swooped up in the upcoming college draft. So this is probably a lot more like swapping a 3rd and a 4th in a normal league. Maybe a 2nd and a 3rd.

Or this years third.

Ha! Thats exactly what I did. Chance of Sternberger with my third this year so holding on to that.

If an owner is trying to offload Rudolph, he can see the barn. Draft your TE and try to get a fairer deal on Rudolph later in the season. If he's trying to unload him now, he'll be even more willing come week 8

not sayign anyones right or wrong or getting into values, just mentioning that playing hard ball for too long might not be your best play.

Vikes could yet trade him to an NFL team w/a need
Or cut him (cap casualty) and he ends up on an NFL team w/need

Yeah, some opportunity for Rudolph to become a buy, or at least a hold, which is not commensurable with value. Worth the effort trying to get a deal now though.

Spun the 2020 3rd (looks mid to late) for MVS
End result:
Hill for Carson and MVS

I think everyone is happy with these deals, which are the best deals.

I'd much rather have Carson. I'm on the boat that says Hill doesn't play again in the NFL.

Lots of caveats:
Hills limbo
Arguable that 2018 was his high water mark

TDC league:
already have Martavous Bryant and Josh Gordon under bad contracts, didn't need another suspended WR
Up for veteran extension or franchise tag in 2020, so have to pay the guy no matter what if I keep him.

Im happy to get some decent players back, while the risk was worth it to the buyer

I just don't understand anybody wanting to play Hill.

A bonus to the deal is Elm lowering his bar
