As a counter-point:

Josh Rosen is a prototypical play-action passing QB with an elite deep arm and accuracy and Kliff Kingsbury has certainly tailored his system to that style of play with Davis Webb.

Have to write off last year. Rosen performed solidly but the route trees were really, really, really bad.

No doubt Rosen benefits with a coaching change.

My problem with this is Kliff doesnt have that kind of pull to do that, and the GM isnt going to give up roster decisions to a coach like him so quickly. When that happens said GM usually loses his job that year. Especially when that GM traded up for the qb. Kliff wasnt exactly a no brain hire.

I think Kliff was more undesirable in the community than the owners / GM circle.


Rumor is after Kliff was fired Reid, McVay and Sean Payton all reached out to him about QB coaching.

A scrub doesn't garner that amount of respect.

Having the 1st overall pick, if Kyler Murray was genuinely their intention they would have traded Josh Rosen by now. He'd be gone yesterday since there is virtually zero point playing games (unless the offers they're getting don't line up with what they want).

Beg to differ. You don't trade Rosen until the draft in case something happens to Murray physically or he gets in trouble. While both are unlikely, why not simply eliminate that risk.
