Favre continued to say that in an effort to reduce Winston's interceptions, Arians might try to call plays that "are less likely to expose him to an interception."

In Winston's case that would be ... running plays.

No to the thread question but yes he'll be back under the franchise tag. They really have no choice.

You can't have an offensive scheme that needs him to throw 600 times in a year. Some of his issues aren't entirely his fault.

With that said, if you think he'd be "better" somewhere else, who has better WRs to work with than he does?

He’ll be back. One way or another

This was a quality effort, no one else seemed to acknowledge.

I think Tannehill stays in Tennessee but I'd love to see what he and Arians could do.

The Bucs would be nuts to sign him to a huge deal

TAMPA — When you throw 30 interceptions in a season and squint a lot as a quarterback, the question is going to continue to come up.

Is something wrong with Jameis Winston’s eyesight?

“He can’t read the scoreboard but he can see the guys in front of him,'' Bucs head coach Bruce Arians said in the final press conference of 2019. "So he’s alright.”

Apparently, all right wasn’t good enough.

Everybody has known Winston is nearsighted since at least his days at Florida State.

Whether it affected his accuracy throwing the football was always a lingering question for the Bucs quarterback.

But one thing is confirmed: Winston recently underwent LASIK surgery to repair his vision.

Yeah, we all think Crablegs is a huge risk for a franchise IRL.
But what about our fantasy teams?
As an Evans, Godwin owner I’m def hoping he gets a deal from TB, with Arians pushing the buttons.

I'd much rather a good QB take his place.

Like who?
My response was purely about Immediate fantasy results.
If Crablegs is in TB that means Evans and Godwin are gold. Regardless of the IRL ramifications.
Compared to the FA qbs, Crablegs is young, will take chances, and stays on the field physically.
Any change at QB brings in another variable.
All I’m saying is that fantasy wise I’d rather see another 600 toss Crablegs than a change at QB. It’s the bird in hand.

Unless of course you are much more incredibly brilliant and prescient than multitudes of fantasy players who are banking on the volume that Crablegs/Arians brings.
Which I believe you think you are.
