I'll stick with my initial thought of Bill O'Brien. He's made bad decisions, gave COBB at the age of 30 a $27 Million dollar contract, $18 guaranteed. He could have just paid Hopkins, add to that the David Johnson contract he had to eat.

I think he gets 1 more year, but I don't see the Texans going anywhere under B.O.B.

I think BOB is safe, mainly because Texans ownership tends to be the "stay the course" type.

Texans have only had 4 HCs in almost 20 years. And one of those was a lame duck interim coach (Wade Phillips).

But nothings off the table. A complete meltdown could see BOB tossed. But if BOB makes the playoffs I see him there another year.

IMO:
Adam Gase
Matt Patricia
Anthony Lynn
Dan Quinn
Matt Nagy
BOB

Are hot seat contestants, in order.

Dan Quinn and Nagy could be flipped since ATL is also the "stay the course" type as well.

Bears traditionally are as well, but they could enter the Robert Saleh race and win it vs all the teams above except for maybe the Chargers (Pros: Good roster Cons: Dean Spanos)

In two years, Patricia has won a total of 9 games. Jim Caldwell averaged 9 wins a season in his four years Lions tenure. Patricia is out of excuses if he can't get the Lions to the playoffs in year 3. Bob Quinn likely follows. Luckily for the Lions there first two games are against division rivals that are on the ropes - Bears and Packers. The two games that follow are at Arizona and home against the Saints. An 0-4 start would spell doom in Detroit.

First two that came to mind.

Fangio seems like a Wade Phillips to me. Great coordinator. Horrible HC.

Mike Zimmer...solid chance he starts out 0-6 or 1-5 at best. Zimmer and Spielman's vision for the Vikings is outdated and there is a price to be paid. Team will implode. Diggs last year wanting out was just the start.

While I agree with the sentiment, they both just signed 3 year extensions.

And if they cut Kirk this off-season its 41M in dead cap money.

Funny how they thought they could just replace Diggs with Justin Jefferson.

The Lions have lost 11 in a row under Patricia. They are the first team in NFL history to blow double-digit leads in four consecutive games.

Vikings should cut him and trade for Jameis.
