I think the Bills success in building around Josh Allen really puts into a focus what a failure the Panthers front office has been over the past decade with Cam.

Time for change.

The sad part is Bridgewater is by no means a terrible QB, they're just overpaying him.

On paper he has good stats for a QB. He's just..... uninspiring. He's a high-efficiency uninspiring Quarterback. A lesser Phillip Rivers.

Right now, I'd call him better than Rivers.

Bridgewater at his best is basically what Alex Smith was at his best several years ago - efficient, mobile, can't carry a team, but can effectively steer a good one.

You guys probably didn't even watch the game.. Bridgewater is their most accurate (in the short/intermediate level) QB, and he makes good decisions.. but PJ is 100% the most physically gifted QB on the team.

They're in the perfect situation to draft a QB in what appears to be a deep QB class (and PJ Walker looked pretty good in his lone start).

I used to enjoy picking up rivers late due to a safe floor.

Just putting this here in case this thread turns into the Hot Seat thread for 2021 or 2022:

The Texans have interviewed ex-Bengals coach Marvin Lewis for their head-coaching vacancy.

62-year-old Lewis spent the past season as the "co-defensive coordinator" for the Arizona State Sun Devils. That is not a joke. Lewis was a program builder in Cincinnati, turning one of the biggest laughingstocks in North American sports into an annual playoff threat. The problem, of course, was his lack of finishing ability, with the Bengals going an inconceivable 0-7 in the postseason on Lewis' watch. He never had a quarterback like Deshaun Watson, but Carson Palmer came close. Lewis' ways had grown extremely stale by the end of his time in the Queen City, but he would certainly provide stability to what is currently one of the least stable franchises in the NFL. The Texans could do worse. They could also do a whole lot better.
