Yup. I faced Taysom Hill at TE in my ESPN league today. Not happy about it, but it is what it is. ESPN needs to change his eligibility next week, and I bet they will. The argument that they couldn't change his eligibility this week because the week had already begun is bogus too.
Hill is arguably more valuable at the TE position than Travis Kelce, which is the dumbest thing ever since he's a **Quarterback.**
If something like this were to happen during the fantasy playoffs...it would be a disaster.

I only play in one league on ESPN. And it isn't one that I commish. Both Fleaflicker and MFL have him designated as a QB.
But I understand the frustration if you had to play against him today.

Yeah it makes no sense to me how a player can start at one position but be assigned another.
It's not like people didn't know in advance that he was playing QB.
If Brees got hurt and you started Taysom at TE or WR and he took over and played QB that is a different story.

If it chaffs you that much just petition your league to not allow his owner to start him at TE.
Otherwise, it is what it is. Stupid, but just like in fantasy baseball with sometimes weird positional rulings on catchers some people get lucky with it.

What if........
a mngr in an espn league had the foresight to recognize what a value hill would be if he got to play QB due to injury and had stashed this guy at end of roster for weeks, knowing he is a difference maker if Brees gets hurt. There is some guy or three out there who likely did just this.
I look for those guys who are listed at multiple positions and roster them at times for that reason - if espn changes it mid season that is not right. to the guy who picked him this week - congrats - have fun dealing with the complaints who feel your move should not count - and beleieve everyone should be on a level playing field - you grabbed him when news broke, some may have known all along that payton had said hill is the likely #2 if we have time to prepare, in game injury winston cuz hill does so many other things - payton has talked this guy up as a Legit qb for 3 years - if you knew that and grabbed Hill with a waiver claim - GOOD MOVE - ridiculous that folks think this is not legit
