A lot of players in this year's playoffs were drafted by dorsey, including 3 QBs. I'm not saying that's a good thing. I'm just saying bringing him in for a player personnel role of some sort isn't bad on its face.

Lions hired former Eagles assistant coach Duce Staley as assistant head coach/running backs.
Staley was reportedly pursued by several teams after he requested to be released from his contract with the Eagles, who constantly passed on Staley for promotions during his time as an assistant coach. Long a player favorite, Staley will join Dan Campbell's staff, which includes newly hired offensive coordinator Anthony Lynn. Staley and Lynn, who come with extensive run-game backgrounds, could signal a run-heavy offensive approach in Detroit this season with Campbell hoping to establish the Lions as tough guys who may or may not maim their opponents.

After the trade, I'd love to see them go get a QB if they have one they covet. Barring that, trask at the top of the 2nd or end of the 1st? Give HOU Stafford+ for Watson?

But he is a good scout and talent evaluator. Just don’t let him get too strong.
