Indy is the very best landing spot for a veteran QB. Guys like Stafford and Ryan could win a SB there IMO.

HOF in my eyes and one of my favorite QBs to watch. But i see the argument for him NOT to get in...if Rivers gets in then there are a few guys on the fence that have to get in too.

Agreed. I am never upset when a guy like Rivers gets in, although the Hall of Above Average would probably fit him better.

But guys like Randall Cunningham, Boomer Esiason, and Phil Simms who are less accomplished than Philip Rivers are not.

The negative of inducting Philip Rivers is then you have to look at Ben Roethlisberger, Matt Ryan, and even *gag* Joe Flacco being in the HOF if Philip Rivers gets in.
Rivers would jump to top 3 on "Best QBs not in the HoF" when he becomes eligible (both Mannings will be 1st ballot).
