You guys got 2 of the top 15 players in the entire draft, and the Vikings have been universally roasted for the trade.

If Hutch learns some actual NFL pass rushing skills instead of snap jumping and bull rushing weaker OT’s like he did last year, their draft could be perfect. As is, Hutch will at least be great against the run to the point that the sack numbers won’t matter as much.

Matt Araiza will end up being one of the steals of the draft. Not only can he boot 75-85 yard punts, but if your kicker gets hurt he can kick field goals too. I think his long was 51 yards last year, not too shabby.

Great pick by the Bills. And he’ll go downfield and lay the smack down on kick coverage too, Bills Mafia is gonna love this guy.

The fallout of the trade.

Lions:

Pick 12 – Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama

Pick 46 – Josh Paschal, EDGE, Kentucky

Vikings:

Pick 32 – Lewis Cine, S, Georgia

Pick 34 – Traded to Green Bay Packers

Pick 42 – Andrew Booth Jr, CB, Clemson

Pick 66 – Brian Asamoah, LB, Oklahoma

Packers:

Pick 34 – Christian Watson, WR, NDSU

Colts:

Pick 53 – Alec Pierce, WR, Cincinnati

I'll continue to warm up to it. This helps.

for me at this point, and there's a million ways to look at if's n what's candy n nuts, it's pretty much:

jameson williams/josh paschal

vs

lewis cine/christian watson/andrew booth/brian asamoah

as much as i like door #2, i'll take door #1.

door #2 is just stuff.

door #1 has a potential WR1. That's why you stock up on draft picks - so you can move up for a player you like.

Also great news for Sun God, as he was going to be exposed at some point if they tried to run him out there as a WR1.

He could be PPR gold for years as a #2 with Jame-O and Hock attracting coverage, once the Loins get a non Goff QB of course.

We'll see how it translates come game day but seeing Cine, Booth, Ingram, Asomoah and Evans isn't hard to look at right now. Whichever way it goes it'll be a memorable 1st draft for this staff anyway. A couple head tilts with all the movement. Some interesting talent from the 5th on.

Should add to being watchable I suppose.
