In a redraft I do with folks at work I have been trying the 'draft top 3 TE early' strategy and last year it was Waller and this year it was Pitts.
I think I'm going to retire this strategy as I can never convince myself to grab Kelce in the 2nd where he tends to go in that draft.
Back to ignore TE until the round before I take a kicker and then just playing the WW for the season.
Since that's what I've wound up doing the last two years anyway.

You might not have to face that dilemma next year w/Kelce being a 1st rd pick in 12-team formats
But he'll be like 38 yrs old by next year.

I have a Keeper league, Always Keep Allen, Cook, Kelce. but I think after next year I'll need to find replacements for Kelce and Cook. they will both be getting old but still have value, after all Kelce just signed a new Three-year deal. And he in not often injured. But he's averaging 7 points a game above all other TE this year.
I was thinking Pitts was going to be that replacement till this year with a crap QB
