Pretty impressive!

I was hoping the Bruins would get an easier 1st-round opponent.

Yea and I would've preferred avoiding both Boston and Pitt in the first round but I'm just glad they got in.

Shouldn't you be a Colorado Avalanche fan? :-k

I assume for similar reasons - Was living in Houston when became fan of baseball and football, was living in bay area when Sharks came into existence. My loyalties haven't changed since 8)

And I don't have a story?

He really played well in the few games he started for StL. IMO the Blues have played the situation very well. A few nights ago they announced Marty's retirement and that he'd be working as a consultant for the Blues FO. Had ~10 interview with Armstrong during the game where he basically said StL has worked closely with the NJ FO, which is important considering his history with them, and the move was collaborated effort. Marty will be with the team all the time mentoring Elliot & Allen, probably practicing as well, and if one of them gets hurt down the stretch guess who's coming out of retirement! Very nicely done by the Blues FO.

I'll be going to stl at the end of April. If the blues are in town, may have to catch a game! If not, hopefully the cards will be.

Just saw this now... I will definitely let you know next time I'm in town.

Btw, the Blues were eliminated but we did hit a cards game.
