There's not a chance on Earth Ohio loses to Purdue today. None.

They weren't losing these two, next four all have potential.

Won't be against Illinois next week.
That leaves Indiana and Michigan. Indiana can score with them....so we'll see.

Letdown after two beatings, Illinois will treat it as their bowl game.

Illinois is doing it today. I wouldn't count on them being competitive with Ohio after the bye next week.

After week 10 - My top 10

1) Alabama - no reason to drop them
2) Oregon - we'll see what happens after this week
3) Florida State - another signature win, but let's be frank. Miami isn't there, yet. Winston is special.
4) Ohio - Tough to spot a loss on the horizon
5) Baylor - Can they get through a huge test Thursday?
6) Stanford - 4 top 10 teams playing this Thursday. Stanford can make a statement just like last year.
7) Clemson - One loss, albeit a terrible one to the hottest team in the country right now. Still explosive
8) LSU - Best 2 loss team in the country
9) Auburn - Deserves to be up here based upon record, but I see 2 more losses on the horizon
10) Oklahoma - Huge test vs. Baylor this week.

1.) Bama
2.) Oregon - strength of schedule puts them ahead of FSU IMO
3.) FSU
4.) the Ohio St
5.) Baylor
6.) Stanford

The rest? Blech right now.

I'm pulling for N. Illinois AND Fresno St to go undefeated.

Sticking with this for now.

Oh, and brace yourself for the Golden Goobers to get chatted about for a BCS bid. :F Hopefully Stanford destroys them.

I agree with the current BCS top 10, just not the order

1 - Oregon
2 - Alabama
3 - Florida St
4 - Baylor
5 - Ohio
6 - Stanford
7 - Clemson
8 - Mizzou
9 - Auburn
10 - Oklahoma

Stanford and Oklahoma validate their place with wins Thursday and they're out of the conversation with losses, could make the same argument for Baylor but I expect them to win in a throttling. I'd slide LSU and Texas A&M up next. LSU has the same deal as Stanford and Oklahoma, validate it this weekend or be gone. Then I'm back to UCLA.

Ultimately, I don't believe in any of the teams ranked 8-10, but they've earned the spot...for now.

Oregon knew there was a pretty big game tonight, right?

Boy, are they getting abused in the trenches. They know it's coming, and they've just got nothing to stop it.

Stanford's SOS might give them enough to vault Ohio St even if they roll the rest of the way. See you in the Fiesta Bowl, Ducks.

Won't be enough to vault FSU though.

If Baylor wins out, their SOS should vault them over the Ohio St. And they played Wofford. :F

Agreed, but I think Baylor tumbles in Stillwater.

I really don't see a loss on FSU's schedule.. I'd say Florida might give them a game, but I'm not even sure you can count on them for 20 and you probably need 40 to beat FSU right now.

Bama as well.. I thought LSU would give them all they could handle, and while their offense will probably score on Bama, I don't see their D doing anything close to enough to have a chance to win.

Stanford probably trucks the rest of the way, just have to hope for a slip-up by one of the big 2.

Bama and FSU looks like the best game. I think if Bama was given a month to gameplan for Oregon they'd be able to replicate the Stanford approach and really shut them down.

No doubt. Oregon sucked when they were in the RZ and the field shrank. Still can't believe they didn't kick a FG on 4th and Goal at the 4 in the 1Q in a scoreless game. I understand not having confidence in your Kicker, but Jesus.

Bama would have no problems doing what Stanford did last night.

The Oregon players crying on the sidelines was hilarious and pathetic.

3.) Baylor
4.) Stanford
5.) the osu
6.) Oregon

Simply don't care about the group of pretenders lurking after 6.

Personally, I'd love to see a 6 game playoff system. Rewards 1 & 2 for a bye and could still only add 2 games most of the time to team's totals for the year.
