I just lost too, by 8 points in the semis. Really surprised I made it this far considering how terrible my team was after injuries. Definitely a challenge, looking forward to winning next year!

I'm in the finals! That first playoff game was a see-saw the entire time. I think for one of the few times ever I had my optimal lineup set and just squeaked out a 2.something point win. I'm up against the #1 team that I managed to end their undefeated season back in week 10, but I don't know if I can pull out another one. My team is 76-57 in all-play and finished the season at 9-5. My opponent is a beast though with Brady, Leveon Bell, Kenyan Drake, and Tyreek Hill. To counter I have Bortles, Kamara, and Gronk. Here we go!

Finals Lineup
QB Wilson
RB Hunt Kamara
WR Fitz, JuJu, Woods
TE Doyle
Philly/Boswell
dang near dead even in proj points, but I have a feeling...

Edit: I've had free reign on the WW and added Philly, JuJu yesterday.

I won. I won. Holy crap, I actually won. Going into yesterday I was getting smoked and left CJ Anderson's 21 points on my bench in favor of J Stewart's 2 points. I log in today to see how bad I got whacked, and I won 89-77. Wow! It came down to the team that vowed to give it their all at the beginning of the season, and they certainly gave it their best. Big kudos to them for making me earn that championship! Well done guys!

Shockingly I dug out a 3rd place finish. CJ Anderson - a dud who I drafted, dropped long ago, and then picked up for the playoffs - saved the day. Crazy finish that I did not expect.

The "Season Story" feature is interesting and is an okay recap but has some big flaws:

https://football.fantasysports.yahoo.co ... ason_story

To put it in better context, I had to look back in this thread to find this post-draft factoid:

PREMIER LEAGUE FBC is expected to finish 10th in Yahoo Public 1195230 League with a record of 0-14-0 (1,437 points).

According to the "Season Story", I get the following:

C- for my draft despite an initial prediction that I'd go 0-14? Well . . . . okay, but that seems like some serious grade inflation.

A for in-season management, that seems right considering the eventual record and finish. (I went 8-6.)

B for final standings seems rough for a team that finished in 3rd place.

It's interesting to see graphs showing my player adds by position. The fact that I added 9 QBs over the season tells a big part of the story - that felt like my biggest positional weakness, and I had to scramble for decent QBs all season.

Anyway, it was a good run. This was *by far* the most active Yahoo Public League I have ever been in - all but 1-2 managers stayed engaged during the whole season, which other KDEF veterans can affirm is typically not the case. KDEF is almost always my most fun league to play in, and this year was a real challenge. See you in 2018!
