Werent we just saying int he Gordahn thread about ppl who flamed out in record time in the league?

Neither JG or JFF qualify as the quickest out on the street, but to have 2 guys thatll get brought up in that discussion, on the same team, in that short a space of time? Not great. At least this one's on Haslam.

Is it alcohol or Colombian marching powder?

On the plus side, judging by all the pics and stories et al, theres one or two players in the league that could do with taking a leaf out of his book tbh.

Wonder if he did it of his own volition?

If so, well done.

I withhold judgement of said act based on actual treatment..and actual results.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports Johnny Manziel checked into a treatment facility last week.

Whoa. We knew Manziel was going down a dangerous road of partying, but weren't aware he was in such dire need of help. He's still just a 22-year-old kid. But he has a big-boy job unlike most his age and it's time to put the booze behind him. "Johnny entered treatment on Wednesday," said his publicist. "Johnny knows there are areas in which he needs to improve in order to be a better family member, friend, and teammate and he thought the off-season was the right time to take this step. On behalf of Johnny and his family, we’re asking for privacy until he rejoins the team in Cleveland." From sleeping on inflatable swans to being caught rolling up a dollar bill in a bathroom to oversleeping and missing the final walkthrough of the season, Manziel's rookie year was a well-chronicled disaster. We assume he'll get himself in order this spring and be back to compete for a job.

And this is Cleveland.

Imagine the disaster if he got drafted somewhere where he really had the partying spotlight.

Was this rotoworld's commentary? I love how they are shocked by this.

Seems like a good place to start his year 2 thread (and his second season in general)

Man, I really like Pettine, but it's real hard to see him being successful given the hand he's working with.

A Ryan Leaf, perchance?
