Cards QB Kurt Warner reported to the team's Tempe training facility for on-field drills and looked as sharp and as crisp as he did in Super Bowl XLIII. Nine weeks removed from having hip surgery to repair a torn labrum, Warner participated fully in all practice activities on Wednesday and didn't seem to miss a beat. "He's a Hall of Fame quarterback and there's a reason why," wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald said. "It's because he works so hard every single day." Warner said he still feels some residual discomfort from the surgery, but that his mobility and flexibility have improved significantly. He also said he felt good enough to fully participate in the team's recent minicamp, but was resigned to working on seven-on-seven drills out of the club's fear someone could step on him or fall on him. Coach Ken Whisenhunt said he was hopeful the off-season hip surgery would allow Warner to play even better than he did last season. -- Arizona Republic
