After mulling retirement the entire offseason, defensive end Michael Strahan has decided to play for the New York Giants this season. Strahan will report to the Giants on Monday and will have four practices to get ready for the Giants' season opener against the Dallas Cowboys. Giants HC Tom Coughlin would not speculate whether Strahan would play in the opener under those circumstances. The Giants have fined Strahan $14,288 for each day of his holdout. His fine total reached $514,368 on Friday.
