Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said Jets QB Teddy Bridgewater "still has some recovery to do."
Zimmer said he liked how Bridgewater looked in practice late last season, but the medical team had a different evaluation. "The reports I'd get back from the medical people weren't as positive as I was about it," Zimmer said. "It was, as a long-term thing, to be nervous about. It was out of my hands." The issues explain why Bridgewater had to settle for a one-year deal with only $500,000 guaranteed during free agency. Bridgewater was non-committal about being ready for OTAs

Saw this a few days back. Really hoping Teddy can make a full comeback, but at this point that brutal injury may curtail a promising young career. Sounds like the Vikes were pretty smart in their QB purge, and the Jets were savvy with that contract.

In remembrance of Walter, D-Day veteran and my friend. Never forget.
