CB - Charles Godfrey - Iowa

Height: 5'11" 3/4
Weight: 207 lbs.
40-Yard Dash: 4.44

Strengths:
Has excellent size with a solid frame and long arms...Outstanding timed speed...A fantastic athlete...Real quick with a burst to close...Very good ball skills...Is strong and tough...Physical and aggressive...A reliable tackler...Will deliver the big hit...Is versatile with experience at two positions...Still improving and has a huge upside.

Weaknesses:
Extremely raw and still learning the position...Has to work on his technique when it comes to footwork and positioning...Marginal instincts and awareness...Doesn't play as fast as he times...Inconsistent and gives up too many big plays...He relies too heavily on his natural talent...Risky and might be a bit of a "Workout Warrior".

Notes:
Older brother El Roberson played quarterback at Kansas State...He played safety early in his college career and only moved to corner in '06...Finally started to fulfill his potential as a senior...Will test through the roof and it'll be easy to fall in love with his measurables but he is still somewhat of a developmental guy...He'll likely be chosen relatively early based more on potential than actual college production.

CB - Mike Jenkins - South Florida

Height: 5'10" 1/4
Weight: 197 lbs.
40-Yard Dash: 4.40

Strengths:
Has very good size and bulk with long arms...A great athlete...Good timed speed and acceleration with a burst to close...Physical...Natural cover skills...Is versatile with experience at both corner and safety..Smooth with fluid hips and nice change of direction...Breaks on the ball quickly...Also offers some special teams potential.

Weaknesses:
Is not great in run support...Not overly instinctive...Pretty inconsistent...Has some character questions...Footwork and technique are shaky...Lacks superb ball skills and awareness...Toughness may be an issue...Might be a bit of a CB / S 'tweener.

Notes:
Was born in Germany...Combined with teammate Trae Williams to form one of the best corner duos in the nation...Also played safety early in his career...Suspended after being arrested and charged with misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct and obstructing or opposing an officer without violence in March of '07...Has a ton of starting experience and everything you look for physically in a pro corner...Very good prospect who has the talent to be a starter...Could get slightly overdrafted.

CB - Orlando Scandrick - Boise St.

Height: 5'10"
Weight: 192 lbs.
40-Yard Dash: 4.32

Strengths:
Adequate size and bulk...Outstanding timed speed...A good athlete..Hips are very fluid and he flips them well to turn and run...Has quick feet...Good ball skills...Can also contribute on special teams...Is tough and physical...Has a ton of experience.

Weaknesses:
Inconsistent and doesn't always play up to his physical tools...Doesn't get a great jam at the line...Just an average tackler...Can be blocked....Did not pick off a lot of passes...Was not really tested that much...Questionable instincts and awareness.

Notes:
Was a three-year starter..Ran the second fastest forty time for a corner at the '08 Scouting Combine...Has a knack for blocking kicks and could also work as a return man...Press / Man cover guy with excellent triangle numbers...Really put his name on the map with great workouts...Has starting potential and just might be a steal.

CB - Tracy Porter - Indiana

Height: 5'10" 7/8
Weight: 188 lbs.
40-Yard Dash: 4.37

Strengths:
An outstanding athlete...Good height with long arms...Great timed speed..Is quick and explosive...Has a burst to recover...Excellent hands...Top ball skills...Has fluid hips and is very agile...Is able to stick with any wideout step-for-step...A threat to score every time he touches the ball...He also has a lot of special teams potential.

Weaknesses:
Doesn't have the bulk you look for...Is not very physical...Has to get stronger...Is just an average tackler...Will have some trouble getting a jam at the line...Gives a big cushion and will give up some easy catches..Marginal technique and footwork.

Notes:
Only played two years of organized football prior to college...This guy is really the definition of a playmaker in the secondary...Also a top punt returner and coverage team gunner...A talented, finesse corner with a great combination of size / speed.

OLB - Bryan Smith - McNeese St.

Height: 6'2" 3/8
Weight: 231 lbs.
40-Yard Dash: 4.75

Strengths:
Good speed and quickness with a burst...Outstanding natural pass rusher...Active with a relentless motor...Nice range and does a terrific job in pursuit...Pretty good instincts and awareness...Reliable tackler...Major special teams potential..Is tough and a hard worker with solid intangibles..He was really extraordinarily productive.

Weaknesses:
'Tweener who may have to make a position change...Is either extremely (DE) or a little (OLB) undersized depending on where he plays...Needs to get stronger..Can get physically manhandled...Repertoire of pass rush moves is limited...Is overaged and will be a 25-year-old rookie...He did not play against a lot of elite competition.

Notes:
Brother Ryan played football at Stephen F. Austin..Played defensive end in college but may have to move to outside linebacker at the next level...A two-time Division I-AA All-American....An intriguing developmental prospect and pass rush specialist.

OG - Branden Albert - Virginia

Height: 6'5" 5/8
Weight: 309 lbs.
40-Yard Dash: 5.17

Strengths:
Excellent size with a big frame and long arms...Fantastic athlete...Good quickness and agility...Strong and physical...Is nasty with a killer instinct...Mobile with decent range to pull and get to the second level...Smart with good awareness...Excellent pass blocker and also gets a decent push in the run game...Real versatile..Leader with great intangibles...Tough and durable..Still improving and has a lot of upside.

Weaknesses:
Still has some work to do in the technique department...Can be inconsistent with his leverage...Motor runs hot and cold at times..Not a dominant run blocker...Has to work on holding his blocks and finishing....He is still relatively new to the game.

Notes:
Did not begin playing football until his junior year of high school in 2002..Was also a standout basketball player as a prep...Stepped in as a true freshman and was a three-year starter for the Cavs ( 36 games )...Named a team captain as a junior in 2007...He started a couple of games at left tackle as a junior in place of an injured Eugene Monroe and could possibly play outside at the pro level as well...First-rate talent with exceptional physical tools....Already a great all-around player however his best days are still ahead...The rare offensive guard who is a legit first rounder.

RB - Chris Johnson - East Carolina

Height: 5'11"
Weight: 197 lbs.
40-Yard Dash: 4.24

Strengths:
Extremely fast and explosive...A terror in space...Very quick and elusive...Fantastic receiver with terrific (albeit small) hands...Runs good routes...Decent vision and a good cutback runner...Can really turn the corner...A great natural athlete...A very versatile weapon..Also an outstanding kick returner..Still has considerable upside.

Weaknesses:
Lacks the size and bulk that you look for...Not tough or physical...Looks to bounce everything outside and he doesn't offer much as an inside runner..Toughness and durability are issues...Sub par blocker...May be a 'tweener without a true position.

Notes:
Bounced around between running back and wide receiver throughout his college career and could project to either position in the pros...If he stays at running back he will probably have to make his mark as a 3rd down / situational guy and return specialist...Has not yet reached his full potential because he was never afforded the opportunity to concentrate on mastering a single position...A very poor-man's Reggie Bush who can definitely help a team if used correctly...Intriguing prospect.

RB - Jonathan Stewart - Oregon

Height: 5'10" 1/4
Weight: 235 lbs.
40-Yard Dash: 4.48

Strengths:
A great athlete...Has outstanding size and a thick build..Excellent speed and good quickness...Very strong...Runs hard and with great power..He attacks the line and gets upfield in a hurry...Patient runner with great vision...Nice balance and change of direction skills...Big play threat who can take it the distance...Has terrific hands and can catch the ball out of the backfield...Solid blocker...Tough...Doesn't have a lot of mileage on his tires...Hard worker with great intangibles...Also a return man.

Weaknesses:
Has battled a lot of minor injuries and durability is a concern...Doesn't have much wiggle and is not overly explosive...Did his damage in a spread offense...Does not always play up to his timed speed..Carried the load for just one season in college.

Notes:
One of the nation's premier recruits coming out of high school...Ankle injuries have been a continuing problem for him...Led the country in kickoff returns ( 33.7 avg. ) as a true freshman...Multi-dimensional and versatile with a rare blend of size and speed...Can be one of the best running backs in the league if he can stay healthy.

WR - James Hardy - Indiana

Height: 6'5" 3/8
Weight: 217 lbs.
40-Yard Dash: 4.51

Strengths:
Phenomenal size with a huge frame and long arms...A terrific natural athlete...Has big, reliable hands and can snatch the ball away from his body...A fantastic leaper with excellent ball skills...Knows how to use his body to shield defenders...Works well in traffic...Can do some damage after the catch...Has pretty good speed for a guy his size...A terror in the redzone...Was real productive...Still has some upside.

Weaknesses:
Isn't very quick or explosive and lacks a burst...May have trouble separating from pro corners...Has some character concerns...Will have to get stronger...Not much of a vertical or deep threat...Just a marginal blocker...Not a great route runner...Is not real physical or aggressive and may lack a football player's mentality...Still raw and will need to be developed...Inconsistent..Is more athlete than football player.

Notes:
Also played on the Hoosier basketball team during the 2004-05 season starting 3 of the 23 games in which he played...Was arrested in 2006 on a domestic battery charge after his girlfriend accused him of hitting her and their son...He only began focusing strictly on football in 2005...A very intriguing physical specimen with rare measurables for the position...Might be a bit overrated since people have fallen in love with his size but in a best-case scenario he could be a Plaxico Burress - type.

WR - Jerome Simpson - Coastal Carolina

Height: 6'1" 3/4
Weight: 199 lbs.
40-Yard Dash: 4.47

Strengths:
Excellent natural athlete...Nice height and bulk with long arms...Has huge 11-inch hands and he will make the spectacular catch..Outstanding leaping ability...Terrific body control and ball skills...Understands how to get open...Gives good effort as a blocker...Tough and fearless..Hard worker with good intangibles...Nice production.

Weaknesses:
Did not play against top competition...Doesn't have elite speed or quickness...Not very explosive and lacks a burst...Doesn't appear to get much separation...Is not real elusive and won't do much damage after the catch...Not a big play threat and won't stretch the field....Has to get stronger...Needs to work on his route running.

Notes:
Will follow in the footsteps of his former quarterback Tyler Thigpen to become the second Chanticleer player to ever be drafted...Also participated in track at Coastal Carolina and holds school records for the long jump and the high jump...Four-year starter...Was one of the stars of the East-West Shrine week...At the NFL Scouting Combine he placed among the top ten wideouts in the forty, the vertical jump and the broad jump..Will try and follow in the footsteps of other small school receivers such as Marques Colston & Jacoby Jones...His freakishly long arms and big hands are definite eye-openers...Despite his small school roots he has starting potential.

WR - Malcolm Kelly - Oklahoma

Height: 6'3" 3/4
Weight: 224 lbs.
40-Yard Dash: 4.68

Strengths:
Excellent size and bulk with long arms...Smooth athlete...Great ball skills and body control...Big, reliable hands...Aggressive and goes after the ball...Is strong, tough and physical...An above average route runner...Good footwork...Works the middle and holds onto the ball after a big hit....A weapon in the redzone...Terrific blocker.

Weaknesses:
Lacks ideal speed...Isn't very explosive...Will not get a lot of separation...He won't do much after the catch...Average vertical leap...Inconsistent and will disappear at times..Maturity has been called into question...Has health and durability concerns.

Notes:
Three-year starter who came out after his junior season...Tore the meniscus in his knee during the Fiesta Bowl as a sophomore and he missed Spring Practice in '07 after undergoing surgery to repair it....Didn't work out at the Scouting Combine or the Sooners original Pro Day due to a quadriceps injury...There have been reports that some teams are so concerned about the health of both his knees he could be removed from their draft boards all together...A very good player who can enjoy a nice pro career as a possession receiver but he is an overrated prospect who was in many ways a product of internet and media hype....Poor-man's Dwayne Jarrett.

WR - Mario Urrutia - Louisville

Height: 6'5" 3/8
Weight: 232 lbs.
40-Yard Dash: 4.61

Strengths:
Has outstanding size and a huge frame...Very long arms and big hands...Is pretty strong...Terrific ball skills and body control...Decent leaping ability...Knows how to use his body...Sneaky deep speed and has been a vertical threat...A terror in the redzone...Very aggressive...Relatively productive....Probably still has some upside.

Weaknesses:
Not a great athlete...Lacks great speed...Not a very good route runner...Does not get much separation...Poor focus and concentration lead to drops..Won't do much after the catch...A marginal blocker...Does not play as physical as he should...Was never really the main focus of defenses...Has some character and maturity issues.

Notes:
As a redshirt freshman in the Cardinals high-powered offense he had the looks of a future early round draft pick....Regressed in 2007 and did not have a great year but opted to come out early anyway...He battled a turf toe injury as a junior...Has some pretty intriguing physical tools and is a much better player than his film from last year will indicate..Isn't nearly the pro prospect that his hype and media press clippings might lead you to believe but could be worth taking a late round flyer on.

WR - Paul Hubbard - Wisconsin

Height: 6'2" 3/4
Weight: 221 lbs.
40-Yard Dash: 4.48

Strengths:
Has excellent size and bulk...Very good speed and quickness with a burst...Great athleticism...Has soft reliable hands....Terrific leaping ability...Good ball skills...Can be a vertical threat...Relatively tough and physical..Will so some damage after the catch...Decent blocker...Smart with pretty good awareness...Still has some upside.

Weaknesses:
Does not play as fast as he times and gets very little separation...Will drop some balls that he should catch...Not a great route runner...Poor technique...Does not have a lot of experience...Still raw...Was not very productive...An underachiever?

Notes:
A track All-American in high school...Member of UW's championship track team and actually made a bigger mark in that sport than he did on the gridiron...Walked-on to the football team in 2003 and redshirted....Was supposed to break out in 2007 but battled a knee injury..Classic Workout Warrior who looks like Tarzan but plays like Jane...May be a track guy playing football and not the other way around...Has an extremely intriguing set of physical tools and the pure talent of an early round pick...A Boom or Bust developmental type who is definitely worth taking a flyer on.
