 Sounds like he's going to enter the draft. Hopefully that is his intention because I doubt they're going to respond well to extortion.

Get yours because they don't really care about you.

This is a damn smart move. I'm impressed.

Different is the word I would use, also mostly guarenteed. I would say on average, mlb salaries are higher.

Idk what will happen either way, but they gave him 4.6 for one year and let him play another of college football. They obviously think they see something .

Thanks. Was wondering if he was just trying to balance out any difference.

I'm not saying it's a bad thing for him to do. He has options, I just don't think the A's would change his contract if they were able to because of that.

if that's true, MLB should do whatever it can to make it happen

Although as a fan of a team picking 3rd that would love to trade down plus the reality of teams's and the media's penchant for driving less than elite quarterback talent into the top of the draft, I hope they don't

Now that I’m looking at it, this isn’t good for nfl teams. How do nfl teams try to approach this?

Well tomorrow is the deadline to declare. If he does declare, I would think there would be enough time between now and then to sort it all out. If he isn't going to spring training with the A's then it's a good sign he isn't going to play baseball
