are you happy about it though? i dont see him getting alot of touches if all rbs are healthy...but i guess we will see

he's been a quality RB2 since his rookie year and there's no bell cow on the 9ers roster. no reason to believe he won't continue to be a quality RB2 in SF, given he's playing for a HC who has experience putting the ball in his hands. given the other places he could have gone....yeah. i'm happy.

If he makes it past April 1st, well, I don't know if we'll know any more about their plans

I can't see why they would want to keep McKinnon if they can save money cutting him. Breida and Coleman are a pretty good tandem and paying that much for a guy who hasn't played a regular season snap that may be 3rd on the depth chart doesn't make much sense.

mckinnons cap hit is small for this year....contract was front loaded. no reason to cut him....trade if possible. makes no sense to cut now

Won't be Coleman....you don't sign a guy to trade him, unless you're the Giants.

49ers are creating the Patriots. Put McKinnon or Coleman in the slot or out wide with the other in the backfield. Creating match-up problems for everyone because you have Little at TE. Then have Brieda come in a pound the ball when needed.
