Well, they were trying to stick to their plan.

I didn't say it was a good plan.

Never good to piss away money, but common sense would seem to indicate that Nelson wanted out when he saw they signed Tyrell, and the Raiders respected his wishes. Just my opinion, feel free to bash it as usual.

I dont know how Cable/Gruden can justify adding more OL (Especially OT) - a record contract, a high 1st and trade up to a 3rd.Penn is still hanging around currently with 5M hit on roster.

We have one of the top centers in Hudson and a good LG in Jackson. That leaves one Guard position (potentially Good will get first crack?) and backup lineman (address in later FA or lower rounds of draft).

Given the lack of attention to pass-rush (Key is the only DE on roster), serious attention needs to be paid to the position everytime the position is BPA eligible (at least twice in the 1st 4 picks).

Easy to envision them landing some combo of Josh Allen at #4, a starting LG, a starting DB (Williams?) and a safety at #35.

As I previous stated, they still need to nail those selections, but the ammunition is there.

I highly doubt safety is on the list. I'd be thrilled with Adderly in the 2nd, but I doubt that is on the agenda. Joseph played well enough in the 2nd half of 2018 to get another look, and Joyner is entrenched at FS now.

The staff seem to currently be envisioning Joyner at nickel CB.

I'll be dissapointed if the 4 pick is not a DE. Even if they trade down out of the 4, they need edge talent. The pass rush is atrocious, logic says address it. How about BPA but only if they can hit a QB?

Exactly why I don't pay attention anymore in here.

This is entirely possible.
