Cardinals DT Robert Nkemdiche was arrested on June 6 for speeding and driving with a suspended license.
According to the police report, Nkemdiche was driving 75 in a 45 MPH zone on his way to practice. After he was stopped, police found out Nkemdiche had a warrant out for driving on a suspended license and failing to appear for a court hearing. The report also says a white powdery substance was found in a credit card holder, but police "decided not to pursue testing of the credit card holder in lieu of impounding the item for destruction with Robert's cooperation." Arizona declined Nkemdiche's fifth-year option back in May, and they can save $500,000 against the cap by cutting him.
