The only reason this isn't the worst line in the leeg is because there are some other exceptionally bad OL in the leeg.

Too bad Mixon's prime years will be wasted on a garbage offense

Yup. Mixon looks like a beast right now, but that o-line and offense puts a damper on it. He's probably still good for the 1,000 rushing and 300+ receiving so im not shying away from him too much. The concerns are valid though.

Mixon is only 23 with 2 years left on his deal. Assuming health, his prime years will be on his next deal.

They don't have much talent to sign, so it is likely they'll be able to offer him a nice contract when it comes time. Dalton sucks but he is still the best they have and they seem to like him. Best case scenario is they get a top pick next draft or the following and they develop a good QB, but still run into the issue of having no other real talent around him and mediocre coaching, so they'll still probably struggle.

Over/under: Mixon total touches 300

I'd go over.

Over/Under Mixon in jail if it weren't for NFL level talent.

Bengals OG Christian Westerman is retiring from the NFL after three seasons.

It's the second offensive lineman the Bengals have lost to retirement with Clint Boling forced out due to health issues. Westerman was in the mix to start, so this is a blow for Cincy. John Jerry and Michael Jordan will compete opposite RG John Miller.

Bengals OG Christian Westerman returned to the team after leaving it August 16.

It was initially believed Westerman decided to hang up his cleats five days ago, but coach Zac Taylor said Westerman was dealing with a personal issue. Westerman, 26, was believed to be in the mix to start at left guard for Cincinnati this season. The Bengals need all the offensive line help they can get.

Brett Kollmann seem pretty confident about Mixon. Basically he said that their left side of their line is relatively good. Even though the right side is garbage, he thinks they'll be able to get him some production by running a lot off of that side.

Damion Willis to start week 1.

Wow, either John Ross is even way worse than we imagined, or our rookie HC is trying to get cute already.

Given the Bengals propensity of big $ signings.....He'll look good running behind the Jaguars offensive line.

I noticed Billy Price is not starting either. Surprising. Trey Hopkins is starting center and Michael Jordan is a rookie who won the left guard job.
