Probably still a 1st rounder...late 1st or early 2nd?

If im selling id want a 1st...if im buying id probably want to give a 2nd. I think they have a site that shows you recent trades involving Penny.

I didn't make any claims about the RB position battle based on training camp. Doing so is a fools errand; especially when make claims like, "he's just not at the same level as Carson right now." That statement has nothing that can be confirmed based on anyone's observations but his own; which I put no value in. You're free to do so if you wish, though. I won't stop you :Drink)

Aloha Zuggy, Just an FYI, I have a few pals that are fan boys at Seahawk Camp & many catches for Carson (so far) in training camp. If that spills into regular season, well you can do the math? Peace

NBC Sports Northwest's Joe Fann believes Rashaad Penny is "falling further" behind Chris Carson this preseason.

Penny has a pitiful 13 yards on 12 carries this preseason and has not looked explosive at all. He does have 37 yards on three catches, but Penny has shown nothing as a runner. Coach Pete Carroll is blaming the offensive line. Chris Carson, meanwhile, has picked up right where he left off last season and is averaging a crisp 5.0 YPC this summer. Carson has established himself as the "clear No. 1" for the Seahawks, per Fann, and is even being talked up by the coaching staff as someone who can contribute more in the pass game. Carson is a fourth-round fantasy steal right now.

I'm starting to warm up to him the more I look at him and where I'll be drafting that RB2.

LOVE Carson. Got him in 6th round last year. That's not happening this year.

One guy to keep in mind as a darkhorse is UDFA Xavier Turner from Tarleton State. Guys a beast, great head on his shoulders. Cut from Cardinals, didn't get offers from CLE or DAL, but landed in SEA and will likely make the team.

Glad to see the rest of the world finally acknowledging what I’ve been saying since draft day 2018.

This really isn't new. We talked about him last year, as well.

I picked him up as a rookie, too. Was hoping he was the 1 traded instead of Collins.

If Russ would pull his mangina enough to stay in the damn pocket, we could possibly have a stud.

Well congrats for being in the minority on Carson at that time.

Pretty certain that last year the majority of the tank thought Penny was going to take his job and that Carson was a JAG.

If I had no life outside of rolling for initiative, I'd go find a bunch of posts to prove my point.

I drafted him when he was on the Pee-Wee Biloxi Saints in a super deep dynasty in 2004 and put him on my taxi squad.

I just knew

Carson, Chris SEA RB (R) (I) 39.7 6 $1.50 5 2017 Auction

I gave him a 5 year contract back in 2017. How brilliant I am. Everyone recognize me for the shrewd player I am.

Well I had to find out where he was from. I just picked the Saints based on that.
