This is why I handcuff.

With a rookie? He wasn’t exactly good in college. Not saying blue is the guy either, probably rb rbbc behind four.

You mean like Barkley Chubb and Johnson last year.

That doesn’t matter. Names are just names. I don’t care who. More importantly is where.

Case in point.

Le’Veon Bell in Pittsburgh is a top pick. Le’Veon Bell in New York I don’t like.

And Ronald Jones and Rashad Penny who all had 1st or 2nd round draft pedigree. Armstead isn't guaranteed a roster spot.

Is Jacksonville now good? Leveon has 5 years worth of play , he’s been good all 5 years. That’s not a great example. For example Barkley in ny.

So. I will just pick up the back up. Plug and play.

And Jones was in bad situation and Penny didn’t get a lot of opportunity but if Carson went down. Penny \becomes a valuable asset\

I don’t care about their pedigree or what round. Situation scheme and opportunity are way more important with RBs

Bell was good in a great situation. Plugged Connor and at one time Williams. Again names don’t matter

We will see how Bell does in a different situation

Bell was also good for 5 years. How often does a average back stay good for 5 years ina good situation?

I’ll say it again, did Jacksonville some how become a stat producing offense line Pitt?

Let’s also add that if Carson went down, penny had a better shot at picking up the workload.

I like four, but I think your playing the situation card too loosely here.

Good point on how situation dictates the opportunity. Case in point, Jaylen Samuels, a rookie, broke off over 130 yards rushing in one game against the Pats last season. I went to everyone of JaySams home games while he was at NC State and there were ZERO hundred yard rushing games.

I use situations over players. You don’t have to. It has worked well for me ever since I realized it every year the mike Shanahan coached broncos had a different rb run every year for 1000 yards.

The simple truth is RB talent really doesn’t matter in the NFL.

Priest Holmes sucked as a Raven. But in Kansas City he was a number one overall pick.

Get a RB in the right situation he will thrive.

As far as the jaguars we will see. The line is healthier and better this season and they have a better QB who won’t end drives with senseless interceptions.

The great thing about fantasy football is we all have our ways of playing. I choose to pick pieces based on opportunity and situation not how good a player is perceived to be because in football You are only good as the team around you.
