BIGGEST SPREAD - The biggest spread of the week is Eagles -9 at home vs the Skins but we all know the rule when it comes to division games. Even though this looks like a slam dunk I can't bring myself to do it.

GOOD TEAMS PLAYING BAD TEAMS ON THE ROAD -
Next two options I see are the Rams @ Carolina (likely without Cam) and the Ravens @ Miami (likely without anything resembling a real football team). While they are both enticing options, I don't like teams traveling across or down the country for a road win.

GOOD TEAMS PLAYING BAD TEAMS AT HOME -
The Chargers are hosting the Luck-less Colts and the Bengals are heading to the Northwest to face the Seahawks. The Colts even without Luck are a little dangerous to me because they do have a good coaching staff and as Chargers fans can attest, they never know which Chargers team will be showing up. The Seahawks opening day against a team already suffering a myriad of injuries looks like a great pick which likely means it's the wrong pick.

MY WEEK 1 CHOICE -
Seattle Seahawks

Yeah, if Luck is out, Chargers seem like a no-brainer pick. If Luck does play, then I'd probably lean towards Seattle also. Not likely Cincy goes in there and beats them.

The beginning of the season is always so damn tough. Seattle and Philly do seem like the best option.

I honestly considered CLE, I'm pretty sure they will win but there seem to be a couple better options.

Chiefs over Jags looks like an easy win.
Of those listed, I'll take Seattle.

Yeah, I'd be shocked if KCC lost. There are a couple better options though IMO.

There are a couple that look better in a "I'd like to save KC for later" way, but certainly not as better bets to win week 1.

Cleveland is looking like my B option if I want to go against the grain a bit

Both are good plays. Ravens/Phins game probably will be low scoring but Ravens D should pretty much dominate.

Yes Seahawks are a no miss, but I’ll save em for later.
Ravens over Dolphins, can’t see Phins doing much vs this D.
