Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.

Plan went out the window last year at about halftime of the MNF game vs the Jets

That was a special kinda (f)ugly.

Works out for both. Good move for Lions. CJ anderson coming off a hungry end of season run, and now he's placed into a situation where he'll get action. If you were thinking of a grabbing kerryon in the rounds <= 3rd, you'd be screwing yourself, even before this signing.

Lions C Frank Ragnow (leg) was carted off the field Friday.
Ragnow collided with a teammate and had a Bills defender roll onto his right leg. He was loaded on the cart after he was unable to walk off the field under his own power. A catalyst in the middle of Detroit's trenches, Ragnow would certainly be a huge loss as Detroit continues to emphasize a ground-and-pound approach on offense. He was replaced by Graham Glasgow on the ensuing drive.

Possibly true for redraft purposes, but this doesn't change my dynasty perspective on Kerryon one bit.

I do not see Anderson's presence as strictly a negative to Kerryon. I believe this staff views it important to rotate backs to keep them healthy, which in theory could help to keep him healthy for December. Also something to be said for giving a guy a few less touches/snaps but more opportunities where he is fresh.

OF course, I drafted him as my RB3. :D
