Also, he'll be a Patriot next year

dude doesn't/can't play. Just IR him. No big loss.

I don't know why they are letting this become a story.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

I really like the Jets schedule moving forward;

Jags
Phins
Giants
Skins
Raiders
Bungles
Phins
Ravens

Easy sledding for Darnold. Factor in all of the weapons; Bell, Anderson, Crowder, Thomas, Herndon...etc. Darnold went on a late season fantasy points scoring run last season too. Might be lining up for a repeat.

Yeah but is the reason he's struggling is that he needs surgery and he's trying to play while loaded up on a dangerous painkiller?

Jets TE Chris Herndon (hamstring) is doubtful for the Jets' Monday night matchup against the Patriots.
Herndon is at major risk of limited snaps even if he's miraculously able to suit up this week. Full-time TE Ryan Griffin has caught 8-of-10 targets for 45 yards and a score ... this entire season. Avoid this position group until we have reason to believe Herndon will receive a full allotment of snaps.

Do they just want to hose those of us with IR spots? Just rule him out, jeez.

So, I wonder if Matt Rhule would want to work with Joe Douglas next year

I'll post this here as Obviously I had hopes Gase/Greg Williams would work out but I also knew that it was an either/or combo. Shock the world or burst into flames. After last night we are in the burst into flames mode.

With that said, the schedule gets infinitely easier which unfortunately gives these knuckleheads a chance to save their jobs.

Hopefully the new GM is smarter than this and just moves on from both after this putrid season regardless of how many wins they can muster.

No one knows the real story since only Osemele and his agent are talking.

The only thing going right for the Jets right now is they aren't talking about this publicly.

On to Jacksonville.
