He's a rookie that has absolutely shown flashes all season. If he's warming up now and Manny is out, why not ride that train? Well, besides Garropollo conducting.

Sooooo.... Why now? Why wasn't he awesome before Manny got there?

Week 1 - got way ahead, stopped throwing
Week 2 - 5-86-1 (grabs attention)
Week 3 - 3-44, Jimmy G was a mess and this was Pittsburgh
Week 4 bye
Week 5 - got way ahead, stopped throwing
Week 6 - 3-18 + 1 rush attempt then injured
Week 7 - didn't play, injured
Week 8 - got way ahead, stopped throwing...but did net 3-19/2-29-1 in his first game back from injury
Week 9 -4-40 (7 targets though - attention getting grabbed again)
Week 10 - breakout post Manny injury, 8-112 (11 targets)

And in those last 3 games his snap count has increased to 70%, 66%, and 83% at the expense of Pettis, who dropped below 40% in each game. Before then he topped 60% just one time (week 1). Not all trends are linear, but you can see where this may be pointing. Plus, as Naut said - he's a rook. It's perfectly normal for one to have a bumpy start and an upward trend as the season progresses.

Also, adding to Oars stats.. Week 9 shoulda been 5 for 60 with a TD but he dropped an absolute sure thing wide open softball in the EZ.. It happens...

Would be interesting if Deebo and Metcalf trades teams
I think Deebo would dominate

And then this just popped up

George Kittle (knee) will miss Week 11 against the Cardinals.
Coach Kyle Shanahan informed the media after Wednesday's practice. It's poor timing for fantasy purposes with the league's worst defense against tight ends on schedule, but San Francisco is taking the long-view approach with Kittle. The stud tight end will be pushing to return in Week 12 against the Packers. Ross Dwelley will be a TE2 streaming option in the meantime.

Mentioned it last week, but Jordan Matthews back with the Eagles. Alshon didn't practice today.

It's a stab in the dark if you're desperate.

Paul Perkins if you are desparate at RB may surprise, I anticipate him getting early down work. That should be a rbbc at worst for him, hope he gets goal line work and a slightly larger share of the carries if they are in a competitive gamescript

McKissic has no record of being a featured ball carrier, I thinkhe got volume last week mainly because he was in nthe game plan moreso going in than perkins - now with a week to know its just these 2 guys mckissic and perkins - perkins may get a bigger look

Perkins and McKissic's history as ball carriers are very similar.

Considering the Lions are likely going to be trailing the entire game under Dryskel, I don’t know why anyone would want Perkins
