These two tweets showed up in succession in my timeline

Screw this day, I'm going home to lay in bed with a bottle of bourbon.

Initially read the second one as:

"Tom Brady now says he can play until he's 46 or something"

Liked that byline more.

You can get 50 yard line seats for this game for $27!

This is the best thing ever. I hope the redskins never win another game until Danny Boy is gone

I mean, whatever dude

How hard is it to tell your employer beforehand. Evidently too hard for Quincy.

Jets are doing a bunch of questionable things, but hard for me to find sympathy with this one Griff

Yeah hard to feel bad for the guy who might not be able to play again.

Edit: I apologize for targeting the Jets and only the Jets in my pointing out of shady behavior. I will do my best to learn from this experience and go forward in an effort to use my Twitter quotes in a more appropriate manner.

I don’t want it

But I don’t want it to belong to bleeding hearts who are twisting anything they can find into anti-Jets anti-management bs. There’s plenty of bad things to choose choose from, but this? Nah.

I mean, I get it. I’m pro labor but not to the point where I excuse someone for not doing something as easy as telling your boss you won’t be at work and then cry publicly when you’re punished for it

I get your point, but this one falls under the "just because you can, doesn't mean you should" category. the Jets have enough negative publicity on their plate--was this worth it?

It's interesting how we view different players. Someone we don't like who has spent more time inured than on the field missed rehab, people here would be trashing them.

Enunwas excuses are meaningless, he even admits he was wrong to not notify the team ahead of time.

Is the fine also excessive?

I have no idea, but sometimes two things can be true at the same time.

Certainly. Emotions cloud judgement, and every situation is different.

That said, I still think the Jets should have just let this one go. The optics do not appear to be in their favor.
