Some other fun stats:
HOU was 11-1 vs rookie QBs under Romeo Crennel coming into this game.
Lock became the first rookie QB to throw for 300 yards and 3TDs in his first career road start. He threw to 9 different receivers in the first half.
10/13 for 101 yards 2TDs on 3rd down vs LAC (one of those being a big drop on 3rd and 12 by DaeSean Hamilton, and another a long bomb to Fant who failed to track a catchable ball).
5/5 for 81 yards 2TDs on 3rd down vs HOU
DEN pre Lock were 30th in the NFL in 3rd down conversion rate.
The last two games they've been #1 in the NFL.
Lock has taken 1 sack in 2 starts despite playing behind one of the worst O-lines in the NFL and consistently seeing immediate pressure.
Definitely still early, and if Lock were to fade into mediocrity from this point he'd hardly be the first QB to be figured out by the NFL... but he's been very, very impressive on his first 2 starts
Some zig when others zag. I zug.
